Panoramic shot (ortopantomogram)

This is a type of X-ray that gives a wide view of the entire jaw and teeth, as well as nearby structures. The patient stands in front of the x-ray machine, keeping his head straight and still. Head positioning is critical because it affects the quality of the resulting image. Next, the x-ray machine rotates around the patient's head, creating a panoramic image of the entire jaw and teeth. 

Teleradiography (x-ray of the jaw)

The method is used to draw up an orthodontic treatment plan for bite disorders or prosthetics. 

T-SCAN

Another method of diagnosing teeth for improper bite. Allows modeling the state and features of the jaws. 

Computed tomography
